Peace Family, It's been a while. The school semester is done and I'm happy to say I did well and I am so happy to be studying in my field. In the days since the semester ended, I've been working quite a bit and in doing so catching up on some of the videos I've been wanting to watch. A few of these videos, well more than a few, are from Joel Osteen. He is an incredible preacher and while I would always see him on TV late at night I stumbled across his YouTube videos and it was a wrap!! If you know me personally you know that I am a YouTube addict! lol I rarely watch actual television. I chose to share the video from Joel Osteen below because I believe it can renew and invigorate your goals for 2013. It is a new year and with the start of every new year its nice to evaluate what we have accomplished and what we would like to start or see through. I pray this message inspires you. I've been listening to this song a lot lately. It's the peace in my otherwise extremely busy schedule. It builds and settles and leaves me with an overall calm feeling. So for some strange reason, I like to get my word on Monday's. I'm not a big church goer (possibly because I haven't found the right one for me yet) but I love the preaching of Bishop T.D. Jakes! He is just outstanding! What I love most about his sermons is that he preaches in a way that is plain common sense. Of course, he applies biblical references throughout, but the messages really appeal to the basic principles of wrong and right. He talks a lot about circumstances, "bad" or "good", ultimately being a blessing because of the lessons we learn through them. This really stands out to me because now, as I go about life, I don't see challenges or hang ups the same way. I always look for the lesson in them. I now honor my "downfalls" because I know they result in a ultimate awakening. Check the Bishop out below he will not disappoint :)
