I'm back with another "Nails of the Week" post. I haven't done this in a few weeks simply because I really haven't liked how my nails have been coming out lately. Thankfully, this week they turned out a lot better:) I used the brightest spring colors that I have and I cannot recall the name of the brand but I know each color was a dollar lol Pics below:)
Let me know what you think and what colors you're rocking for the spring/summer season. As always, I wish you all peace and light. Cee ya in the next post!
It is nails of the week time and I have been trying to get around to using this nail color for a minute. I got it during an elf sale back in February and I am just getting around to using it lol My sisters went in on it when I first got it so it finally made it back my way. As always, I used LA Colors top/base coat, Elf polish in Mint Cream, and LA Colors nail art in black. I like the way it turned out. Simple yet unique. I am a pretty simple/basic person so the dots add a little interst to the nail color without going completely over the top. I had sparkle glitter nails last week so I definitely wanted to tone it down this week. I hope you enjoy this post and I'll be posting soon with a review of Tyrese's "How To Get Out of Your Own Way." Until next time, I wish you all peace and light.

It is nails of the week time and man am I excited about this weeks nails! Ok real quick what I used:
-L.A colors top/base coat
-NYX pink
-Sally Hansens glitter
-Every other color I had! lol
This week I wanted something fun and bright because I read that the weather was going to be kind of funky (cloudy and grey) so, I thought I would add my own little sunshine to the week. I hadn't used this particular shade of pink in a while so I thought eh why not but I didn't want to have all one color nails (I did purple on every nail last week boring!) so I got to fooling around and putting specks of color all over my pointer finger. Taa Daa!! Spots lol For a little extra spazazz I put one coat of Sally Hansens glitter over the spots. It looks really cute on toes too :) Well, that is all for the nails this week. If you have any comments or suggestions please leave them below. See ya in the next post!
Peace and Light,

Peace Family,
This week I turned another minor mix up into something kinda cool. I was trying a technique that I often wore during my sophomore year of college, colored french tips. I did a pale pink base and a fuchsia color tip but my hand proved to be less steady than I needed it to be. To conceal the less than perfect tip, I drew a black line across the line of demarcation on each tip. I think it turned out pretty cute:) Let me know what ya think. Feel free to leave a comment or suggestion. I love hearing from you all. Have a peaceful and positive week.

Peace Family,
It's nails of the week time! I used LA-Colors (which is the brand of pretty much all my nail colors) in this fun Tangerine with black and white design art and of course top coat. I was going for a tribal look but it came out looking a little lady bug-esq lol Nonetheless, I like it and I think next week I will try to expand on the lady bug theme:) Mistakes can be a source of inspiration. I hope you enjoy this post. If you have any tips and tricks on nail design let me know I love trying new things. Cee ya in the next post!

I know this post is late, late, late. But I had to come and share anyway:) The pic above is of my nails for the week and I have to say I really like them. It was simple to do and cheap!! I used a clear base coat, old pearl color, sticky patterns from Walmart, and a layer of clear top coat. That's it! Cheap and easy. No chipping or pealing yet. I recommend this over weekly/biweekly visits to the nail salon. It takes less than twenty minutes (including drying time), forces you to steal a few moments to nurture and care for yourself, and saves at least $15 dollars. Those of you who have been following HoneyCee.blogspot.com for a while know that I am a kind of "do it yourself" type of person. Here I have posted homemade recipes for facials, hair treatments, and food. Feel free to check out those posts if you like. I'm working on a post for Women's History Month that I think will be really cool. Trying to decide if I should make it all inclusive of the women I admire most or do individual post. What do you think? Feel free to leave a comment below I love hearing from you all. Cee you in the next post!
Peace Family,
I came on today to share my Holiday Nails and oh how I love them!! They are festive yet work appropriate. This Christmas and New Year I wanted to bring the sparkle and light that is customary to the season into my every day activity. Finger nail polish is my way of doing so:) The colors consist of a bright almost fuchsia pink covered in a glitter base and a random black nail just for a little added fun. I haven't been this satisfied with my nail polish in a while and I re do my nails almost every Sunday. It was really fun and easy to do. What kind of things do you do to heighten your holiday experience? Leave a comment below I would love hearing from you! Until next time, I wish you all peace, light, and a Happy New Year.
