New Years Nails!!!!

Peace Family,
I came on today to share my Holiday Nails and oh how I love them!! They are festive yet work appropriate. This Christmas and New Year I wanted to bring the sparkle and light that is customary to the season into my every day activity. Finger nail polish is my way of doing so:) The colors consist of a bright almost fuchsia pink covered in a glitter base and a random black nail just for a little added fun. I haven't been this satisfied with my nail polish in a while and I re do my nails almost every Sunday. It was really fun and easy to do. What kind of things do you do to heighten your holiday experience? Leave a comment below I would love hearing from you! Until next time, I wish you all peace, light, and a Happy New Year.

I call this one "Granny" because it has an old school feel and I made it for my grandmother

I named this one "Chocolate and Peanut Butter" because that is what it reminds me of:)

This one I call purple passion because it was for my sister Marie who LOVES purple!

Quick Heartfelt Recipe: Upgraded Mimosa!

Peace Family,

I have so many posts that I want to share with you all. Finishing all of them is taking me awhile but I did want to come on and share this quick recipe with you all. I call it an upgraded mimosa because to me it tastes so much better than the typical one.  I do not measure exactly and you can adjust to your personal preference. *Note: For my 21 and older folks:) Ok here goes:

-1 cup mango juice
-1/2 half cup white Merlot

Quick and simple! Try it and let me know what ya think:) It was the perfect weekend treat. So tasty and delicious! I love the way the natural sweetness of the mango juice mixes with the kick from the Merlot mm hmm yum. I sipped this while decorating my Christmas tree and re-doing my two strand twist for all my hair folks. As always I wish you all peace and light. If you have any questions or comments leave them below. I love to hear from you.

Peaceful Sunday

Hey Family,

I had to get online and show you all this throw I made. Isn't it beautiful?! Its the first one I've EVER made and I'm really proud of it. It took forever (about four weeks) to make. I could have finished sooner but my schedule has been really crazy. At the end of the day, I really don't mind how long it took to complete because I'm in love with the outcome :) The colors are so cool and reflect my personal style in a way nothing in a store ever would. It's amazing now to think how the entire throw started with a single long string. I feel like a new mom after giving birth lol. After all the pain and screaming, I took one look at it and thought "oh it wasn't so bad." Well I'm not going to hold you all. Just had to share my Sunday delight. I hope you all enjoyed your weekends as well and wish you a peaceful and productive week. Cee ya in the next post!

Weekly Motivation Play Review "Boxes"

"Do You!! Be Your True and Authentic self. If people can't accept you for who you are then you were not meant to be aligned with them in the first place. As long as you are living a truly righteous and pure life, you are in line with the divine will of all men and nothing should be able to stop you from being you. Never allow anyone to take your shine or dim your light. The right people will only accent your natural glow. Be true, Be you, Be your natural organic self!"-Cee

Peace Family,

I know some of you are wondering where did this all come from? lol Well I went to Cee this incredible play "Boxes" written by Ebony Curtis and directed by Brandon White. It discussed the pit holes that we sometimes find ourselves in when we listen to the voices of others and allow them to permeate or overshadow our opinions of ourselves. Many of the characters in the play found themselves in very compromising situations as a result of allowing a relative, coworker, or friend's opinion matter more than their own. At the end of the play, one of the male protagonist (Jabari Cigno) delivered a powerful monologue that encouraged audience members to live their dreams, pursue goals, and remain ambitious. I left with a feeling of renewed passion to pursue my personal goals. I hope the message above does the same for you. For more information on this truly inspiring play click here. Leave your comments below. I love hearing from you. As always, I wish you all peace and light. Cee ya in the next post!
